This was a solid, tense read even if it didn’t blow me away completely. The idea that walking away just delays the horror to someone you love is such a cruel, clever twist on inheritance stories. A few side characters could have used more development, but the core story carries it. Already recommending this to everyone I know who loves a good scare.
